Agreement
These Terms govern your use of peaksecurity.us and services provided by Peak Security. By using the website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. A signed proposal, statement of work, or other written agreement controls if it conflicts with these Terms.
Our services
Peak Security provides authorized offensive-security research, testing, reporting, retesting, and responsible-disclosure support. The scope, timing, deliverables, and fees for paid work will be agreed separately. Security testing can identify risk but cannot guarantee that a system is free from every vulnerability.
Authorization and cooperation
You represent that you have authority to authorize all systems, accounts, and data included in an engagement. You will provide accurate scope and contact information and promptly tell us about safety, availability, or legal constraints. We may pause work that appears unsafe, unauthorized, or outside the agreed scope.
Acceptable use
You may not use our website, reports, tools, or services to break the law, attack systems without authorization, harm others, interfere with our services, or misrepresent Peak Security. You are responsible for protecting credentials and access you provide.
Confidentiality and data
Each party will protect non-public information received from the other and use it only for the engagement, except when disclosure is authorized or legally required. Our handling of personal and Google user data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
Each party retains ownership of materials it owned or developed independently. Unless a written agreement says otherwise, you may use deliverables we prepare for your internal security and remediation purposes. Peak Security retains its general methods, know-how, tools, and reusable materials. You may not publish a report or use our name or marks publicly without written consent.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the website and any unpaid materials are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Any warranties for paid services must be stated in the applicable written agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable under these Terms for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or revenue. Peak Security's total liability arising from these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid Peak Security for the service giving rise to the claim during the preceding twelve months. These limits do not apply where they are prohibited by law or where a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Termination
Either party may stop using the website at any time. Engagement termination is governed by the applicable written agreement. Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a revised effective date. Material changes apply prospectively. Questions can be sent to contact@peaksecurity.us.
